How Your Vibration Level Controls Your Life

Most of us have a sense that everyone has a vibration level. We might say that someone has good vibes. But did you know that your vibration level controls your life?

We want to think that we are unique and in charge of our destiny, but there are hidden forces that influence our lives.

Understanding how your vibration level works can help you make sense of your life. Knowing how to change your vibration level can help you live the life you dream about.

Exactly what is vibration

Author, David Hawkins (Power vs Force: The Hidden Determinants of Human Behavior, 2002), talks about attractor patterns or fields. These attractor patterns influence our lives in many ways. He says “These fields … dominate behavior, so that definable patterns are consistent across cultures and time, throughout human history.”

I like to use the friendlier term vibration when talking about these attractor patterns. Hawkins is telling us that much of what we think, feel, and do is the result of our invisible vibration.

Another way to think about vibration is using the law of attraction concept. We attract people and experiences into our lives based on our vibration level.

Your vibration can attract love, joy, and abundance or it can limit you.

How do know if your vibration level is holding you back?

Here are some examples of ways your vibration can negatively influence your life:

  • You feel stuck and unable to move forward in your life.
  • Your emotions are often painful (fear, shame, guilt, despair, etc.).
  • You try to make healthy choices (eating right, exercising, etc.), but you fall back into old habits in no time.
  • You keep having the same problems over and over again.
  • You keep attracting the same kind of problem people into your life.
  • You have tried all sorts of personal growth programs and nothing seems to work for you.

Do any of these examples of low vibration sound familiar?

Do you want to raise your vibration level?

Hopefully by now you are getting the idea that your vibration level may be invisible, but it is controlling your life. By raising your vibration level, all areas of your life will benefit.

Even though your vibration level is invisible, you can change it. By focusing on releasing painful emotions from the past, you can raise your vibration. If you have a lot of fear from childhood, then you will continue to attract situations and people that trigger fear. It is not your imagination if you keep meeting the same frustrating type of people or having the same problem experiences.

If you are still not sure if you want to raise your vibration level, you might want to think about how your life will be different without these painful emotions. Most people experience less stress and more love and joy. Does that sound good to you?

Getting started

The poetry of emotion process is an effective method to release the past without re-traumatizing yourself. There is no need to remember painful events from the past.

You can think of this as art therapy with words. You will be using metaphors, symbols and stories to directly work with your emotions.
