Do You Have to Live with Painful Emotions?

Many of us have painful emotions and we believe that we must live with them. Sometimes these painful emotions have been with us for so long that we don’t realize we have a choice.

I took a class recently that reminded me how easy it is to forget that change is possible. Do you believe change is possible?

Do you have a painful emotion that you are living with?

The class

I took a two day Quantum Touch (QT) class. If you are not familiar with QT, it is a form of energy healing based on the scientific concepts of resonance and entrainment. Qt can help with issues of pain, physical illness, and emotional issues.

In a nutshell, the QT practitioner raises their life force energy using breathing, visualization and intention. Many cultures have names for life force energy, such as Qi or prana. When the practitioner raises her energy, the client is able to raise his or her energy and engage his or her natural healing ability. The client is always the healer.

At one point in the class, Julie Brent, our instructor asked us to pick a personal healing project. Since I am pretty healthy, I wasn’t sure what to pick. She asked me if there was something I was just living with. Right away I knew the answer: my eyesight.

I plan to use QT and the poetry of emotion process to work with my eyesight. There is often (maybe always) an emotional component to physical healing. I can’t wait to “see” what happens.

What are you living with?

Do you have any painful or uncomfortable emotions that you think are a part of who you are? Do you believe that change is possible?

Here are a few emotions and beliefs that people don’t believe they can change:

  • Anger
  • Feeling unworthy
  • Feeling unlovable
  • Feeling undeserving
  • Feeling not smart enough
  • Etc.

Do your negative emotions and beliefs define you?

What if you could change?

Just imagine for a moment how your life would change if your painful emotions were gone. If you woke up tomorrow and you felt calm, good enough, worthy of being loved, deserving of a great life, smart enough, etc.

What if I told you that these negative emotions and beliefs are not you? They are the result of unresolved emotions from your past. You have had them for so long they seem like the real you.

You can change

Even if you can’t imagine a different life or a better future, change is possible. The poetry of emotion process is one method to release the past and reclaim your true self.

You do not need to live with painful emotions and beliefs. You have a choice.
